If you are unable to use the "DEL" key, press Shift+Del while the numeric keypad's backlight is on. This will restore the functionality of the DEL, HOME, PGUP, PGDN, and END keys.

To turn off the numeric keypad's backlight and lock the numeric keys, press Fn+Num Lock again. In this state, the numeric keys will be deactivated, and the DEL, HOME, PGUP, PGDN, and END keys will be functional without the need to use the "Shift" key.
